2016 is going to be a very big year for me. It is the year I do my GCSEs which is what I have been working towards for almost 12 years now. It is also the year I leave secondary school and go to college; which means I have prom coming up! I believe 2016 will also be the year where I grow and mature immensely and will hopefully be the year many exciting will come.

So with 2016 being such a big year for me, I came up with some goals that I am determined to achieve in order to better myself.

1. PUSH MY BLOG FURTHER
This year I really want to put my all into my blog. Produce better and more consistent content that you will all hopefully enjoy and really try and get to a place where I am happy with it. I want to try and change the design for my blog too so I will be looking into that. Blogging is something I absolutely adore doing and I really want to show that this year.

2. ACHIEVE GCSE RESULTS I AM PROUD OF
I want to finish school with results I can say I am proud of. Results I know I really worked for and that I can show people. I’ve put so much hard work into my education and I really want it to show through my results. So I am going to revise my little butt of this year, in fact, I should probably start soon!

3. ADVENTURE MORE
I’m still young and too poor to travel the world but this year I really want to get out more. Explore what my home country really has to offer. Go to big and exciting cities and also beautiful and quiet nature reserves. I just really want to get out there and enjoy the world.

4. LEARN TO RELAX A LITTLE
Sometimes I can really work myself into crazy stress levels. I just need to relax, take each thing as it comes and not panic about things far far in the future. I mean the other day I was worrying about if I would ever be able to pay my gas bills when I move out! I’m only 15!! I just need to chill. I especially need to relax about change, sometimes change is a good thing and I need to realise that. This time of my life is jam packed with change so I need to see the positives in it. I think if I can get myself to relax this year I will have a lot more fun.

5. GROW MY CONFIDENCE
I can’t live in a shell all my life, I need to get out there, meet new people and not be scared about it. I’ve started doing it already and I feel a lot better in myself.

6. SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH THE PEOPLE I CARE ABOUT
I want to just put our phones down and have fun with each other. We are in a world led by social media which is absolutely great at times but not so much when you’re hanging out with people. I need to focus on and appreciate my friends and family more and hopefully I can take some of them on my adventures with me.

So there we are, 6 goals to achieve throughout 2016 for a better me. NEW YEAR, BETTER ME! What are your resolutions for this year? I hope 2016 brings the best for everybody!
